I would become even more specific and say that it is based in a lack of understanding of why &#039;faith&#039; is something reasonable to begin with. The crisis of faith is caused by a belief that only that which can be empirically demonstrated is worth believing. Faith is considered to be a cowardly and&nbsp;naive&nbsp;way of knowing about the world.<\/p>\n<p>However, I would argue that everyone, even those people who think &#039;faith&#039; is a naive way of knowing, use it every day. They have faith in the news reporter, even though they have no way of confirming what happened 5,000 miles away in&nbsp;Afghanistan. They have faith in many small ways every day.<\/p>\n<p>I simply feel that, given what I have read and experienced, though I don&#039;t have empirical demonstrable evidence, that Christ was the son of God.
