Thomism and Science – American Maritian Association 2018

This past semester I participated in the annual AMA meeting which was held in Philadelphia, PA.

The theme of the conference was “Thomism and Science.”  In my paper, I explained why Thomas supports Aristotle claim that only one substantial form can belong to teach human being, and that his doctrine of potential/virtual presence accounts for the way organ transplants and atoms behave inside of human beings, while still falling short of the title of “substance.”

Here are some photos from the visit.
